When it comes to fashion goals in Bollywood, there’s none like Sonam Kapoor. The pretty actor has had hardly any miss when it comes to sartorial choices. From fusion saris to bold pantsuit, ethnic or western wear, she is a true fashionista in every sense. And many a time one has wondered if they too can flaunt the same attires and accessories worn by the ‘Neerja’ actor.

So, the good news is, now you actually can! Yes, the Bollywood fashion queen is giving away her clothes and bag for charity. The ‘Delhi 6’ actor will auction a dozen of her designer clothes to aid an NGO, which she says is very close to her heart.

According to reports, she will be auctioning 12 stylish couture from her possessed collection that would also include vintage gowns along with few branded bags.

In 2016, the ‘Khoobsurat’ actor became the goodwill ambassador for Mumbai-based NGO, Fight Hunger Foundation which aims to eradicate starvation among children. The money raised through the auction will be donated to this NGO and a portion of it will be donated to an organisation she represents, Cuddles Foundation that works for children battling cancer.

“Given that she is a big name in the fashion space, big funds are expected to be generated from the auction,”  Mid-Day reported quoting an industry insider.

However, this is not the first time the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ star has donated money raised by auctioning her clothes. In 2012, she had announced an online auction of some of her clothes for charity during Christmas. She had turned Santa for many children then and auctioned her clothes on her friend-cum-stylist Pernia Qureshi’s online fashion boutique. The proceeds were donated to Smile Foundation, an NGO which works to support poor children.

Even after all these years, Malaika Arora Khan proves that she is the queen of fashion

Malaika Arora Khan

It’s no news that Malaika Arora Khan is one of the most stylish ladies of Bollywood. The actress has over the years redefined tres chic dressing and at times traditional Indian dressing too and if you ask us, more often than not, she has managed to grab eyeballs. Recently, we spotted Khan up and about at an exhibition in Mumbai and as expected it wasn’t any different this time around.

She caught our attention as soon as she stepped out in a fresh off the runway look from Abraham and Thakore’s collection. The outfit included a white shirt, a sari style pleated maxi skirt and a matching bolero jacket. With hair tied up in a centre-parted ponytail, the fashionista accessorised her look with heavy kohled eyes and a pair of silver earrings. We think she looked lovely.

But the outfit which really impressed us is the one she opted for a launch event in Hyderabad. The emerald green kurta with the churidar and a matching embroidered dupatta from Raw Mango is something you can add to your wardrobe too. Khan accentuated the easy, breezy look with a chunky silver necklace and neat braided hair.

While we are talking about her style, there’s another look that caught our attention. She was spotted at Mumbai airport in a floral printed high neck maxi dress by Pasha India which she paired with black boots and a black tote.

Sonam Kapoor or Twinkle Khanna: Who wore the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari better?

Sonam Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna

Sonam Kapoor is the undisputed queen of fashion. Today, in an industry where there’s a full-fledged fashion extravaganza on display, she can rightfully be called the ‘queen-mother’ (albeit a very young one) of modern style, responsible for single-handedly bringing in a change among her contemporaries. While the likes of Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt have done a stellar job at it, we still feel there’s no one like her.Twinkle Khanna

Fashion connoisseurs would agree that it’s always exciting to see her on the red carpet and she’s always a step ahead of the game. However, having said that, we also feel that there are a few who’s sartorial choices aren’t as diverse as the Neerja actress but they have a certain sense of style. One such lady is Twinkle Khanna, elegance personified, and it’s a delight to spot her on the red carpet. Now, imagine how surprised we were when we spotted this witty charmer wearing the same sari as Sonam Kapoor at a recent event in Mumbai.

What’s interesting is that Khanna isn’t usually the one to opt for quirky dressing but she did choose this Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari with fringes on the hem, pallu and blouse. The sari which is pure fun and elegant at the same time, was spotted on Kapoor a couple of months back – in pale green.

As far as styling is concerned, Kapoor went for a neat centre-parted updo, dewy face make-up, fierce winged liner, a soft pink lip shade and statement Kundan and emerald chandelier style earrings by Kalyan Jewellers. Meanwhile, Khanna accentuated her look with a blouse with a pearl neck, beautiful soft curls, gorgeous smokey eyes and diamond earrings and a diamond ring.
